Carrie's Canvas art studio

I have had dreams of selling art and opening my own art studio for as long as I can remember. Attended college for a Fine Arts degree. Worked commission based and I have created many original pieces. I was a member of the National Art Honor Society in high school creating and designing jewelry. I have published art from this time.

When I paint I use mainly acrylics and oils. I have created art using watercolors and gouache.

 I also create art work out of fabric, not limited to blankets.

I also create pieces out of fond/ repurposed/ recycled objects. 

I find most of my ideas are from either my surroundings or designs based on art deco concepts.

I also like taking a found item and creating something different or unusual. I've made both functional and display art from repurposed items.
